About the Event
Why so many F's? Because Father's Day is the day after! (Sorry, our thesaurus ran out of F's).THE PUBLIC IS INVITED! Pilots encouraged to fly-in (parking at Alpha/Bravo intersection). Join Aviation Explorer Post 8 for a fly-in, drive-in, bike-in, and walk-in pancake fundraiser at Philip Billard Municipal Airport in Topeka.
Enjoy pancakes, sausage, syrup, coffee, juice, airplanes, aviation friends, and a good cause supporting future flyers. We will even supply some punny pancake Dad jokes.
Bring the father in your life for Father's Day weekend. Psssst, Did we mention that fathers are OPTIONAL (just don't tell), as pancakes highly encouraged regardless of whether your father sleeps past noon on a Saturday. Our Exploresr said this makes a great pre-Father's Day surprise and might get them out of making pancakes on Sunday morning! (Tip: sneak extra pancakes home in your pockets while everyone observes the aircraft parked outside the doors).
